Updated SHP online courses coming to STARS in 2025 (spring)

The SHARE Title IX and Title VI Office is currently working with the Office of General Counsel and the Employee Labor Relations-UHR Office to evaluate content changes required based on the updated Title IX Regulations and the Department of Education's "Dear Colleague" letter. Note that our Sexual Harassment Prevention courses are part of a larger review of Stanford courses affected by the federal administration's new guidelines and executive orders.

Cara

Hello! My name is Cara Steele (she/her) and I am a sophomore studying English and Art Practice. I’m passionate about sexual health education and empowering individuals to find safety and pleasure in sexual experience. Hello! My name is Pelagia (she/her) and I am a sophomore biology major from Emerald Isle, North Carolina! This is my first year at the SHARE office, and I am very passionate about women's health and increasing access to sexual health and violence education. Women's health is community health, and more access to education and support resources will grow our community as a whole. I hope for a career in virus research and pandemic prevention, and in my free time I enjoy reading, going to concerts, and spending time in nature. I look forward to working with you this year!

In addition to my work with the SHARE Office, I’ve worked as a research assistant for the Stanford Human Trafficking Data Lab and served in the ASSU Executive Cabinet as the co-director of Sexual Violence Prevention. After finishing my undergraduate degree, I’m hoping to pursue a law degree to pursue public interest work in the field of gender-based violence.

I’m interested in the intersection of policy, human rights, and corporate social responsibility, and hope to work within these fields when I graduate. In my free time, I enjoy FaceTiming with my family, reading fiction, and curating playlists!
