ANNOUNCEMENT

Sexual Harassment Prevention online course assignments will begin on November 17, 2025

The SHARE Title IX and Title VI Office, now partnered with Traliant Operating, LLC, is preparing to launch two new interactive web-based Sexual Harassment Prevention compliance courses to all faculty, academic staff, employees, and postdocs. These courses adhere to the California State mandated training requirements outlined in Assembly Bill 1825 for faculty and supervisors and in Senate Bill 1343 for non-supervisory employees and postdocs.

Non-Supervisory Employees, Academic Staff, and Postdocs

Main content start

Newly updated Sexual Harassment Prevention courses for faculty, supervisors, academic staff, non-supervisory employees, and postdocs will be activated on November 17, 2025. The new compliance courses (SHP-1025 and SHP-2024) will be available in STARS once assignments are made on November 17, 2025.

Stanford requires all faculty, academic staff, employees and postdocs to complete programs that encourage members of the University community to explore ways in which we can nurture respectful workplaces, classrooms, campus living spaces and programs sponsored by the University. Topics include illegal forms of sex-based discrimination, sexual harassment and other forms of sexual violence in our community, reporting obligations, campus resources, how to assist survivors, and how to be a positive “UPstander”.
