DUE September 30: The Sexual Harassment Prevention for all Non-supervisory Employees, Academic Staff, and Postdocs (SHP-2024). All Contingent Employees must complete the required training within 30-days of training assignment. NOTE: The NCAA Harassment Prevention Training does not meet the State-mandated Sexual Harassment Prevention Training. Supervisor & Faculty Sexual Harassment Prevention Education and Prevention

Faculty and supervisors who did not complete the 2023 Sexual Harassment Prevention (AB1825) training will need to complete the training as soon as possible to avoid non-compliance per California State mandate and University policy.  For 2024, new faculty and supervisors will have the required 30-day due date from the hire/start date.

People who need to take this course

  • All staff who supervise Stanford employees (including casuals, Stanford temporary employees, and students)
  • Faculty: members of the Academic Council
  • Emeritus faculty who are recalled
  • Performance, Research, Teaching, and Applied Research Faculty
  • Med Center Line Faculty
  • Clinician Educators on Stanford payroll
  • Coaches and Assistant Coaches
  • Senior Lecturers
  • Senior Fellows on Stanford payroll
  • Artists in Residence
  • Those listed in "supervisory" job codes, even if they don't supervise.
  • Those listed as supervisors in the PeopleSoft "Reports To" field
  • Supervisor job title list

When to take this course

Within 30 days of hire, and in every odd-numbered year thereafter. All Stanford faculty and supervisors must retrain in these "training years". Note: During COVID-19, Live Workshops were not available. As we recover from Covid restrictions, we are working to reimplement the Live Theater course option in 2025! 

Completion certification

When you finish the course, your completion record will appear in your All Learning page in STARS.
