Supervisor & Faculty Sexual Harassment Prevention Education and Prevention
Faculty and supervisors have until 12/15/2024 to complete the SHP-1023 course before the course is closed in STARS. If you do not complete the SHP-1023 course by 12/15/24, you will lose all progress and you will be required to retake the course from the beginning. The course is still available on your STARS All Learning page here.
People who need to take this course
- All staff who supervise Stanford employees (including casuals, Stanford temporary employees, and students)
- Faculty: members of the Academic Council
- Emeritus faculty who are recalled
- Performance, Research, Teaching, and Applied Research Faculty
- Med Center Line Faculty
- Clinician Educators on Stanford payroll
- Coaches and Assistant Coaches
- Senior Lecturers
- Senior Fellows on Stanford payroll
- Artists in Residence
- Those listed in "supervisory" job codes, even if they don't supervise (approving timecards, included).
- Those listed as supervisors in the PeopleSoft "Reports To" field
- Supervisor job title list

When to take this course
Within 30 days of hire, and in every odd-numbered year thereafter. All Stanford faculty and supervisors must retrain in these "training years". Note: Live Workshops are not available. The SHARE Title IX - Education Team is working on new possibilities for in-person workshops.
Completion certification
When you finish the course, your completion record will appear in your All Learning page in STARS.
